How to Use Trauma Straps
Pull the straps out of their packs
Clip the straps together
Step into the straps
 
Orthostatic Intolerance or Suspension Trauma
Blood can accumulate in the veins while in a sedentary position
Reduction in quantity and/or quality (O2 ) of blood flowing to the brain and kidneys
May be fatal
 
Suspension Trauma Signs and Symptoms
Faintness
Breathlessness
Sweating
Paleness
Hot flashes
Increased heart rate
Nausea
Dizziness
Unusually low heart rate
Unusually low blood pressure
Graying loss of vision
